Food Hygiene Rating

The Rustic Rover Company are registered as a food business with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and are inspected, assessed and rated by their Environmental Health team.


We are proud to hold a "5" Food Hygiene Rating.

Tassimo Pod Recycling

TASSIMO is a Founding Partner of Podback, the new coffee pod recycling service. Podback, the first service of its kind in the UK, is designed to make recycling coffee pods as easy as it is to make pod coffee. The Rustic Rover Company, as a user of Tassimo drinks pods, are collecting our used pods and recycling them through Podback.


WHAT HAPPENS TO USED PODS?

After collection, the coffee pods are taken to a specialist reprocessing plant in the UK to separate the packaging from the used coffee grounds. The coffee grounds are used to create soil improver and renewable energy. The plastic will be transformed into new products such as plastic garden furniture.


WHERE WILL THE PODS BE PROCESSED AND RECYCLED?

Plastic pods will be reprocessed by Roydon in Swinton, near Manchester. Recycling bags are recovered and used to create energy.
